THIS WEEK’S ANNOUNCEMENTS
A/V Help Needed!
We’re looking for more audio/visual operators for our Sunday services. If you’re interested in helping, please see Anna Ruth or Steve Smith. We’d be glad for you to sit in on a service and see what’s involved.
From creation to the cross, we have five life-changing Bible lessons to share with kids this year! Come be a part of sharing God’s Miraculous Mission with our VBS students. We will meet Sunday, June 2 following the worship service.
Women on Mission
Women on Mission will meet on Sunday, June 9 to prepare candy with scripture verses for the RVBA witnessing booth at the Salem Fair.
Women on Mission participate in outreach projects in our church and community throughout the year. All women of the church are invited to come and be involved!
Month of Prayer for Associational Missions
May is the month of prayer for the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association. Click here to read about some of the RVBA’s various ministries.
During May we also collect for the Annie Mae Broyles Offering for Associational Missions. This offering stays right here in the Roanoke Valley to assist ministries and churches in sharing the gospel and reaching out to serve in Jesus’ name. To donate, mark your offering envelope for Annie Mae Broyles. (We don’t have separate envelopes for this offering.)
• June 23-27 Vacation Bible School

Books for BookNet
BookNet is a ministry of the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association. On mission trips, RVBA volunteers have the opportunity to go into schools, read to children, and allow them to pick out books to keep. We are collecting new and gently-used children’s books for preschool through 7th grade. If you have questions, Bette Yeatts would be glad to help you.
