Wanted: Women on Mission
Come one, come all! There’s no time like the present to engage in mission opportunities. It’s time to look ahead and imagine all the possibilities the new year can bring. We are hands-on and community-focused and our activities are ongoing and/or one-time events. Women on Mission will meet Sunday, January 26 after the morning worship service. Lunch will be provided.
God can and will do amazing things through you as we minister to our world, community and church.
It’s not too early for spring cleaning! We will have an indoor church cleanup day on Saturday, February 8 at 8:00 a.m. Come help us spruce up our building and make it ready for our spring events.
Join Us on Wednesdays!
6:30 pm Haran Kids
6:30 pm Bible study (also offered Thursday mornings at 10:00)
7:30 pm Choir rehearsal
A/V Help Needed
We’re looking for more audio/visual operators for our Sunday services. If you’re interested in helping, please see Anna Ruth. We’d be glad for you to sit in on a service and see what’s involved.
Books for BookNet
BookNet is a ministry of the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association. On mission trips, RVBA volunteers have the opportunity to go into schools, read to children, and allow them to pick out books to keep. We are collecting new and gently-used children’s books for preschool through 7th grade. If you have questions, Bette Yeatts would be glad to help you.
